Conservatories

PVCu Profiles

The sides of our conservatories are constructed from WHS Halo compact framed extrusions, which are designed to mirror the slim appearance of traditional doors. Despite their compact profile, they conceal fully enclosed multi-chambers for increased rigidity, reduced heat transference and extra protection for metal reinforcements. Roof construction varies according to your choice of style, but all are constructed from high quality PVCu and feature integrated ventilation systems as standard.

Security

Conservatory doors are fitted with the latest Yale multipoint locking system, and are approved to PAS 23/24 – the standard required by major UK insurance companies. Any opening casements are designed to meet or exceed independent security tests, with features including  security-protected hinges, extra strong “shootbolt” locking systems and lockable handles as standard.

Energy Rated
The glass used in our conservatory sides has been voluntarily submitted for an energy rating test and has can be supplied with an "A", "B" or "C" rating, with a low “U” value, denoting a minimal level of heat loss.  This offers you savings on energy bills, keeping you warmer in winter and cooler in summer, as well as increased resistance to condensation.

Maintenance
Our conservatories are designed for easy maintenance, incorporating high quality PVCu that won’t rot, peel, crack or warp – whatever the weather. You can maintain your conservatory by wiping the PVCu with a mild detergent and lightly lubricating pivot points annually. Glass should be cleaned with a soap/water solution to remove any heavy grime and then finished with a household glass cleaner. Take care around any leading. We also offer Pilkington Activ self cleaning glass for the ultimate in low maintenance.
